Hello (once again).
I go by the name ‘Carswani.’ If you are reading this, it’s probably because you know of me through my vlog on youtube (www.youtube.com/morethanablog). I have had this site since November of 2008, and here it is March 2010 and I have not done too much of anything with it. I’ve tried several times to get this blog off of the ground, yet I have discovered that building a blog site is not so simple such as making those little cute html geocities sites from back in the day when scrolling marquees were hott. (They kind of are still, if you use them in a clever enough way.)
This time, I’m going to try a different approach. I am going to use this site in my own ‘unofficial’ way. Meaning, I’m going to do whatever with it, but remain consistent with it. Therefore, I’ll learn as I go along. And when I feel I’ve reached a certain level of understanding, as well as getting more in tune with my niche, I should have a blogsite that I feel proud of and start ‘officially’ blogging… If that makes any sense to you. In other words, this is all rough draft stuff… “Pilot episode” stuff. It’s basically the same approach I used for youtube.
Some basic info about me… I’m 24 years old, originally from Boston, MA where I currently live, Entertaining people with art and humor is one of my strongest passions, and my obsession with food is somewhat infamous. As time passes, I’m sure you will learn more about me. My vlog on youtube is a variety channel I like to call “More Than a BLOG” simply because it’s a vlog. So, it’s more than a blog. It’s a vlog. Get it? Well, I’d like to think that I offer more in my videos, too. Whether it’s comedy, graphics, ideas, etc. Youtube has probably been one of my most beloved hobbies ever and has also gained me some attention. I’ve reached almost 3,500 subscribers and have a collection of videos I hope you all have enjoyed thoroughly.
Anyway, this website is an extension of the vlog but with more of my deeper side added to it. Such is why it’s named after me! Not to worry for those of you who enjoy my comedy and humor. Trust, it’s not going anywhere. I hope you all stick with me as I begin this new way to reach out to you all. Until the next post!
